We Found Home

This past Saturday, something incredible happened- we move into our house.
After weeks of dealing with the stress of our old place-the constant issues, the back-and-forth, and trying everything we could to get out of the lease-we finally did. And then, almost like it was meant to be, we got approved for a new house. A fresh start. A clean slate. And now.... we're home.
It still doesn't feel real. After holding out breath for so long, it's like we can finally exhale. Our own space, with it's quirks and corners that need work-but it's ours.
It's far from perfect, but honestly? I don't care. It's ours to grow into, to fix up, to make memories in. It's where new laughter will echo, where late-night snacks will be devoured, and where something new and good begins.
This weekend, our parents are coming to help us settle in, and I'm already getting emotional just thinking about it. I can already picture the tools, the chaos, the hugs. There's something so beautiful about building something side by side with the people who love you most.
And doing all of this with my sister-my built in best friend-makes it even more special. We're living together again, and it feels like coming full circle. From growing up side by side to building a life under the same roof again-it feels like we're exactly where we're meant to be.
Here's the part that gave us body chills: when we were setting everything up, we noticed our house code had a 555 in it. My sister had looked it up out of curiosity, and what she found felt like a sign straight from the universe.
Angel number 555 is all about transformation. It means change is here-big, soul-level change. it's about letting go of the past, embracing freedom, and trusting that what's ahead is exactly where you're meant to be.
And after everything we've been through recently, that message was exactly what we needed.
So here we are-exhausted but happy, surrounded by boxes and so much hope. This house still needs love, attention, and probably a few Home Depo runs... but it's home.
Soon, these blank walls will hold photos and laughter. There will be early mornings filled with coffee and late nights filled with stories. A new chapter is beginning-and we're ready for it.
We've made it through the hard part. Now it's time to grow, to settle in, and make this place truly ours.
